The UGC-DEB has approved Sikkim Manipal University's remote education MBA program, which lasts two years (4 semesters).

SMU Distance Education MBA Eligibility Criteria 

The SMU Distance Education MBA Eligibility criteria are as follows : 

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 
• The degree must be completed with at least 50% overall marks.
• Applicants must have at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• The program has no upper age limit for admission.

Note: Exemption from the University's MBA program entrance exam. An applicant possesses a National / International MBA Entrance Test* score card with a 45 percentile or higher. The scorecard, however, shall not be older than one year at the time of admission to SMU-DE. 

SMU Distance Education MBA Fees 

The SMU Distance Learning MBA fee is INR 20,000 each semester (including exam fees of Rs. 5,000) or as updated from time to time.

SMU Distance Education Admission Process 

The SMU Distance Education MBA Admission Process is given below: 

• A university-appointed counselor will call you to gather basic information. You will be emailed a link to an online application form. 
• You will complete the application form (counselor assistance is available if needed), upload your documents, make an online payment, and submit your form to the University.
• The University will review your application, verify your information, and notify you of your admission status.

SMU Distance Education Placement 

SMU-DE has a placement assistance program that assists students in obtaining employment after completing their distance education MBA degree program.
